She is proficient in addressing cultural diversity with utmost respect and has the ability to create therapeutic safety through non-judgmental listening. Her expertise lies in helping clients identify potential changes to reduce distress, and she has a profound understanding of both systemic and relational psychodynamic perspectives.

Professional Experience

Cindy is actively involved in providing psychotherapy services to clients throughout Ontario. In this role, she develops and implements effective treatment plans and guides clients in developing coping strategies for a variety of mental health issues, such as for symptoms of PTSD. Additionally, as a student in her final year, Cindy has implemented learned practices within a professional group setting, demonstrating proficiency in adhering to empirically supported therapeutic modalities. Previously, Cindy served as a Co-Facilitator for Grief Share for several years. Her dedication was evident as she volunteered to provide compassionate service to individuals affected by loss and actively contributed to facilitating local Grief Share groups, striving to enhance the lives of participants.
