Amanda Schneider brings a holistic and compassionate approach to mental health and well-being, grounded in her extensive background in health and wellness. Beginning her journey in 2014 as a Certified Yoga Instructor, Amanda discovered her passion for supporting others on their paths to healing and self-discovery. She further expanded her expertise by becoming a Level 2 Eccentrics Instructor and earning certification as a Guided Meditation Framework Facilitator.
Driven by her desire to help those in need, Amanda began working with the Crisis Text Line in 2020, where she quickly rose to the rank of Level 8 Crisis Responder. Over the course of her crisis work, Amanda has provided immediate emotional support to over 1,000 individuals, completing nearly 1,100 hours of dedicated service. This experience inspired her to pursue a deeper impact through long-term mental health support, leading her to enroll in Yorkville University’s Master of Counseling Psychology program, where she is on track to graduate in 2025. Amanda is currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
As a therapist intern, Amanda works collaboratively with her clients to explore their unique challenges, strengths, and goals. She is passionate about fostering a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can feel empowered to work through their difficulties and embrace their potential for growth and healing. Her diverse background in wellness, crisis intervention, and counselling provides a strong foundation for her empathetic and client-centred approach to therapy.
