The guided principle of personalized care is at the very heart of our approach. We believe in the power of collaboration. We pride ourselves on the wide array of services we offer, facilitated by a diverse team of mental health professionals. Recognizing the multifaceted nature of mental health, our therapists are pleased to collaborate with PMVC in order to facilitate their client’s referral for psychiatric assessment. The traditional mental health system can be overwhelming and hard to navigate, where clients often receive lengthy wait times when seeking psychiatric care. The PMVC connects our clients and their therapist with a psychiatrist through a secure online care platform. This provides clients with psychiatric assessment and diagnosis, medication recommendations and review as well as psychotherapy recommendations. Follow up consultations with your psychiatrist will be available to clients as needed, and may be scheduled by your therapist. With this collaborative care initiative, a medical report will be sent directly to clients’ family physicians. This is a team-based support system that will help clients get the most comprehensive mental health care that fits their needs, right away.
