Taylor has worked with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs, and is committed to creating a safe and respectful therapeutic environment. Taylor has worked in the mental health field for over 5 years. Previously, Taylor had completed her Master’s in Applied Developmental Psychology, where she worked with children, adolescents, and their families. Despite, the clients age, Taylor emphasizes care, empathy, and understanding as clients share their ongoing
challenges. As a therapist, Taylor hopes to help clients develop and maintain self-awareness and confidence in their ability to make positive changes. Through effective inquiry and self-evaluation, Taylor encourages clients to take responsibility of their life and maintain the meaningful relationships in their lives.
Beyond support, Taylor provides education on our fundamental needs as human beings and practical strategies to help clients identify goals and support their presenting challenges. Through this approach Taylor collaborates with clients through a trusting relationship that aims to achieve identified goals but also enhance the clients’ overall well-being. As a mental health professional, Taylor advocates for self-determination while also supporting individuals through their mental health journey. Taylor believes that as human beings we all face challenges in life and in that sense, we can relate, work together, and learn more about each person’s unique experiences. Through this understanding, Taylor focuses on providing clients individualized and personal approaches that best fit her clients needs. By maintaining an authentic, non-judgmental space, and strong therapeutic relationships with clients, Taylor and clients are able to feel safe to explore, grow, and take steps toward a fulfilling life aligned with their specific values and goals. Through collaboration, Taylor prioritizes the clients’ needs by adapting strategies and ensuring a holistic, personal treatment experience is provided.
