Alicia Cassano is a counselling practicum student currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She has completed several specialized trainings, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Behavioural Activation for depression and anxiety. Alicia is also a certified Registered Behaviour Technician.

With multiple years of experience, she has worked with children, adolescents and adults to help navigate unique concerns using modalities such as CBT, DBT, Behavioral Activation strategies and behavioral approaches such as ABA therapy. She is continuing to develop her knowledge and skills in EFT, ACT and Narrative therapy.
Alicia is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based services while creating a safe and welcoming environment for her clients. She prioritizes building a trusting and authentic therapeutic relationship with her clients and works collaboratively with them to understand their unique experiences, concerns and goals. She supports individuals in navigating a range of concerns, including stress and anxiety, grief and loss, behavioral disorders, relationship challenges and workplace stressors. Her client-centered approach emphasizes empowerment, resilience, and practical strategies to promote emotional well-being and meaningful, lasting change.
