She has extensive experience supporting autistic children and adults in rehabilitation and crisis settings. Anabel draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness- and trauma-informed care, tailoring her approach to each client’s needs.

She provides individual therapy, supporting people through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, burnout, social anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, addictions, and recovery from substance use. She also works with relational concerns such as marriage and partnership challenges, communication difficulties, isolation, and boundary-setting, as well as areas like body image, perfectionism, emotional regulation, impulse control, life skills, and work-life balance. Anabel has worked extensively with autistic children, helping them navigate developmental and social challenges with understanding, patience, and individualized support. She further has experience in rehabilitation settings, supporting adults facing addictions and complex mental health challenges, helping them rebuild stability, develop coping skills, and work toward recovery. Additionally, her work on a
suicide crisis line has strengthened her ability to listen and respond with empathy in moments of distress and crisis.
Anabel draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, trauma-focused care, self-compassion, and strengths-based approaches. Anabel adapts these methods to meet each client’s unique needs, fostering a collaborative and supportive space for growth.
