Jennifer has twenty years experience working in the educational system, supporting neurodivergent individuals and families within the community. Utilizing a strength-based and trauma informed approach, she helps individuals uncover their unique strengths and needs, tailoring supportive strategies to foster resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connections within their relationships. Jennifer’s approach combines evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness and compassion focused therapy (CFT). She believes that every person’s story is important to unfold and fosters a therapeutic space to be heard and validated. Jennifer believes that you can learn a lot about yourself by exploring how your thoughts and feelings drive your behavior. With children and adolescents, Jennifer has a vast knowledge of ABA and specializes in teaching self-regulation and emotional control. Her primary focus is to teach and implement strategies to help individuals maintain control and handle difficult circumstances. She has extensive experience working with adults and couples as they navigate challenges throughout their daily lives, building self-confidence and conflict resolution strategies.
